The idea for TIOLI was born after years of living with food intolerances and the associated problems. Ira Saric-Ormuz, the idea giver of this start-up, found no solution on the market for her problems. Through conversations with other sufferers in Facebook groups, she made the decision to help others with the same problems. In this context, she decided to pursue an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management to get even more support and valuable knowledge to develop her idea. With this idea she took part in the event borek.digital “Startup-Weekend”. There she presented her idea in a one-minute pitch and won over two interested people who worked with her on the business concept for 54 hours. In the end, the team won 2nd place in the finals. Since then, all three team members have been working together to implement the idea. In addition, the team was able to win the award within the framework of the innovate! 2018 competition and took 1st place in the Food & Agriculture category.
